Melania Trump and Donald Trump stayed silent on social media platforms despite the White House sharing a special anniversary picture but it’s since been branded “awkward” by one Trump critic. The post featured a never seen before picture of the First Lady and US President during the inaugural ball in 2017. It comes as CNN reporter Kate Bennett has revealed Melania and Donald never use the word “love” about each other due to the heartbreaking realities of life in the public eye.
She told The Washingtonian: “People say to me, ‘How can she stay with him?’
“And I want to be like, well, the time to leave was maybe when he joked about you getting run over by a truck but if your boobs were okay he would stay with you.
“But here we are almost 20 years later.
“Being First Lady sucks in so many ways that I almost appreciate the way she’s been like, I’m not going to hold his hand.

“We’ve watched so many political wives stand there in those awkward moments.
“She hasn’t commented on impeachment at all. Hillary Clinton went to Capitol Hill during the Monica Lewinsky scandal and said: I know what he did, it’s horrible, it’s terrible, but we’ve still got to support him.
“Melania’s like, I think I’ll talk about vaping today.”
It comes as Melania suffered an awkward wardrobe malfunction as she exited Air Force One with US President Donald Trump and son, Barron Trump.
The 13-year-old wore an olive green jacket with a black t-shirt, black jeans and black New Balance trainers to match.
He waved at photographers as he was leaving the plane.
Barron Trump is said to have “downgraded” in the White House after moving to the presidential home from Trump Tower in New York.
Melania Trump and Barron moved to the White House a few months after Donald Trump had become the US President.
