Mr Pompeo was interviewed on TV about President Donald Trump’s actions over the assassination of the Iranian General. During the televised hearing, he was asked a question on it and replied with a laugh. He answered: “Does anybody believe he was a ‘kind diplomat’?”
Mr Pompeo also said that he was confident that if Iran made another bad choice, Presided Trump will respond as he did last week in a major hint to World War 3 starting.
He went on to accuse Iran of working to thwart efforts to bring peace to Afghanistan.
He said: “Iran has refused to join the regional and international consensus for peace, and is, in fact, actively working to undermine the peace process by continuing its long global effort to support militant groups there.”
He was speaking at a State Department news conference.
