Michelle Obama heartbreak: Ex-FLOTUS drops shock confession after 2020 Grammy nomination

She was nominated in the ‘Best Spoken Word Album’ category for her audiobook of her bestseller ‘Becoming’. The list has just been announced for next year’s awards with an array of the world’s best musicians up for gongs. The likes of Lady Gaga, Bon Iver, Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift are all up for awards.

But in a surprise move, the ex-FLOTUS will go up against rock royalty John Waters and rappers Beastie Boys for her award.

Michelle admitted the past year had been a “meaningful ride” as she accepted the nomination.

She wrote on Twitter: “So thrilled to receive a #GRAMMYs nomination!

“This past year has been such a meaningful, exhilarating ride.

“I’ve loved hearing your stories and continuing down the road of becoming together.

“Thank you for every ounce of love and support you’ve shared so generously.”

Twitter and Michelle fans went wild at the announcement.
