Shannon Briggs was involved in a furious scuffle backstage at the weigh-in for KSI vs Logan Paul.
The ex-heavyweight champion was filmed hitting another man – believed to be a member of Badou Jack’s team – in the face.
This was after Briggs was seen in other footage grabbing a man by the neck.
The former professional fighter is acting as Paul’s head coach for his professional boxing debut, which is a rematch of last year’s internet-breaking amateur bout.
Briggs was also seen clashing with Viddal Riley, KSI’s head coach, after the weigh-ins concluded. The pair have endured a bitter back-and-forth throughout the build-up, with Riley – a professional cruiserweight – poking fun at the 47-year-old’s past drugs ban.

After the weigh-in, Riley had to be wrestled by three security members as he attempted to retaliate to Briggs.
Promoter Eddie Hearn played down the incident, however, and insisted it was just “handbags”.
Speaking to Behind The Gloves, Hearn revealed that Briggs had originally clashed with a member of Jack’s team before the weigh-in, and clashed with Riley afterwards.
“I think you can imagine who it was,” he joked.
“I think it was Shannon Briggs and Viddal Riley having a pre-fight fight.
“That was originally, then it was something else over there.
“It was all fine, it was only handbags.
“The problem is that it’s everybody’s job to hype things.
“When you hype things, you push people to their edge, so you all want hype and drama, but eventually these guys like Shannon – even KSI and Logan Paul, who aren’t fighters, they’re to the point where they could explode.
“That’s almost the perfect time to make the fight happen – i.e tomorrow.
“This was maybe a little bit early, but I just want to get to the fight now. We had a face-off between KSI and Logan just now and it was a little bit… [nervy] and these aren’t real fighters. If they’re real fighters they would have gone at it by now.”
