RHONJ – Caroline Manzo Responds To Teresa Giudice’s ‘Rat’ Comment – ‘I Have To Laugh’

When Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Teresa and Joe Giudice appeared on their own tell-all special this weekend, Teresa talked about the federal charges that were brought against her and her husband. And, she wondered if her former RHONJ co-star Caroline Manzo was the “rat.” Joe immediately said it wasn’t Manzo, and then revealed that he knows who turned the couple in for bankruptcy fraud. And now, Manzo is responding to Teresa’s claims, telling her fans that she had to laugh.

One day after the special aired, Manzo shared two videos on her Instagram stories. In the first video, she had fun with Teresa’s “most beautifulest eyes” comment.

During the special, Teresa quoted Sophia Loren, saying, “If you haven’t cried, your eyes aren’t beautiful.” She then added her own statement, saying, “These eyes have done a lot of crying. I must have the most beautifulest eyes in the world.”

The Manzo’d with Children star sang along to Whitney Houston’s If you Say My Eyes Are Beautiful in her first video, and then in the second, she shared her thoughts about Teresa’s “rat” accusations.

During her interview with Andy Cohen, Teresa said that she was sad because Manzo has lived a crooked life, and that’s something she has never done. Teresa went on to say that Manzo’s “crooked life” must be a result of where she came from, and then she wondered if she had anything to do with what happened to her and Joe.

“Is she a rat?” asked Teresa.

Joe quickly added that Manzo had nothing to do with their case, and he told Teresa to “just forget that.” And, Manzo said in her post that she doesn’t typically dance or sing so early in the morning, but she had to laugh at Teresa’s comments.

“I couldn’t find the word ‘beautifulest’ anywhere. I’m sorry, but you’ll be hearing from me soon,” said Manzo.

While Manzo didn’t get along with Teresa during her five seasons on RHONJ, she did speak up in support of Teresa and her daughters when an immigration judge ordered Joe’s deportation in October 2018.

Caroline Manzo said that Joe made mistakes, but he’s been in the United States since he was an infant. She added that Joe Giudice took responsibility for his mistakes and served his time, plus he isn’t a violent person or a threat to society. Manzo said that Joe and Teresa have four beautiful daughters who love their dad and they need him in their lives.
