Currently, Karim is one of the favourites to win the show at 10/3 odds, only beaten by Kevin Fletcher at 5/6 odds.
He began his career starring in West End productions at the theatre school Sylvia Young’s in London.
His most renowned performances include a stint in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the London Palladium, The Far Pavillions at the Shaftesbury Theatre and The Lion King at the Lyceum.
The BBC presenter has also landed a number of small parts on television, including Eastender’s, Da Vinci’s Demons, Top Class and Saturday Mash-up.
