Buchanan reported he referred to Black Widow as a “standalone franchise”, appearing to imply there will be a Black Widow 2 and maybe more.

Black Widow is set to fall between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War in the timeline, so it will be interesting to see where a sequel solo movie would fit in.
