Outlander season 5: Brianna Fraser and baby Jemmy set for tragedy as star drops teaser?

Outlander viewers are destined to see a lot of drama in season five of the show. While Brianna Fraser (played by Sophie Skelton) and Roger MacKenzie (Richard Rankin) had a tough season last year, their troubles are not yet over. Their brand new baby was brought into the world under complicated circumstances, and now these issues will continue to give the pair a tough life going forward.

Although it has not yet been revealed exactly what is going to happen with Brianna, Roger, and their new baby, it is sure to rock the entirety of the Fraser family.

The show’s cast recently appeared at New York Comic Con to discuss season five, to tease coming storylines and difficulties the family will face.

During the discussion, Claire Fraser actor Caitriona Balfe spoke about what is to come for her on-screen daughter.

Careful not to spoil anything about the new episodes, Caitriona said: “I think this is a really great season for Brianna and Roger’s characters.

Discussing the relationship Jamie and Claire have, he said: “There is still a lot of humour, and a lot of passion.”

He went on to tease the themes being explored in the show this year.

“This whole season, I think, is about the family,” Sam explained.

“And about the family sort of needing each other to fight these exterior forces.”
