Alexander Zverev hails Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer after clinching Laver Cup win

Alexander Zverev says he would not have come through his winner takes all battle with Milos Raonic without the support of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

Federer kept Team Europe in the Laver Cup by beating John Isner in Match 11 and that meant a final match battle between Zverev and Raonic.

Zverev won the first set but was hit by nerves and Raonic took advantage to win the second set and force a ten-point match tiebreak.

Before the tiebreak, the German left the court and he was accompanied by Federer and Nadal, who pumped him up and demanded positive energy from him.

And it made the difference as Zverev produced some inspired tennis to dominate the tiebreak and seal a 6-4 3-6 (10-4) win.
