Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, recently attended a press conference on banning flavoured e-cigarettes. Footage shows the US President confusingly referring to his son, Barron Trump, as “Melania’s son”, before hastening to add the word “together”. With First Lady Melania sat besides him, President Trump said: “Vaping has become a very big business as I understand it, like a giant business in a very short period of time.
“But we can’t allow people to get sick and we can’t have our youth be so affected and I’m hearing it.
“And that’s how the First Lady got involved, she’s got a son, together, that is a beautiful young man and she feels very, very strongly about it.
“She’s seen it, we’re both reading it, a lot of people are reading it, but young people are dying with vaping.
“So we’re looking at it very closely and, you know, if nothing else this is a conference and it’s going to let people know about it.

“Because people are going to watch what we’re saying and parents are going to be a lot toucher with respect to their children.
“A lot of people think vaping is wonderful, it’s great. it’s really not wonderful.”
Twitter users reacted to the footage and Melania’s reaction to the comment, with one posting: “Gee, Melania certainly looks happy doesn’t she? Hahaha!”
Another said: “Her face is either a) like thunder or b) completely disinterested c) all of the above.”
Another tweeted: “She, he, and they have a son. All are correct and none of them mean that he doesn’t remember or value his son.”

The comments follow old footage recently resurfacing of Donald Trump snubbing his wife Melania while she stood besides him.
During a trip to Florida after Hurricane Irma in 2017, the US President said: “I just want to thank everybody – the first responders – on behalf of myself, our vice president and Melania who really wanted to be here.”
Despite standing right next to her husband throughout his statement the President managed to completely overlook her.
When Trump made the blunder, Melania turned to him with a look of confusion.
