Nintendo Switch games leak: Christmas 2019 shaping up nicely for Switch fans

Nintendo Switch fans are in store for a fantastic Christmas this year, especially if the latest games leak turns out to be true.

Upcoming Nintendo Switch exclusives pencilled in for 2019 include Astral Chain, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Daemon X Machina and Pokemon Sword/Shield.

That’s in addition to a brand new portable only Nintendo Switch console, and lots of third-party game ports.

But despite all of the major Nintendo Switch exclusives having release dates, there’s no word on when Luigi’s Mansion 3 will be out… until now.

According to a leak on Amazon (via Gamingbolt), the Christmas 2019 Nintendo Switch lineup is about to get even better.

Pre-order customers have received emails informing them that Luigi’s Mansion 3 will launch on October 4.

This would mean a new Zelda game in September, followed by Luigi’s Mansion 3 in October and Pokemon Sword/Shield in November.

Nintendo Switch owners would be well advised to start saving now!

And based on Nintendo’s most recent announcement, there could be a lot of new Nintendo Switch owners by the time Christmas rolls around.

Nintendo unveiled the Switch Lite in a surprise announcement earlier this week.

The slimmer, lighter and more affordable console is said to be designed for gamers on the go.

“Nintendo Switch Lite is a compact, lightweight addition to the Nintendo Switch family, with integrated controls,” the company explains.

“Nintendo Switch Lite supports all Nintendo Switch software that can be played in handheld mode.

“It’s great for people who have lots of opportunities to play outside, and also for anyone who wants to play online or local wireless multiplayer with friends or family who already own a flagship Nintendo Switch console.

“As a dedicated handheld gaming device, Nintendo Switch Lite does not support output to a TV.”

The Nintendo Switch Lite has a September 20 release date, and will launch at a lower price.
