WWE Extreme Rules: How Undertaker reacted backstage after return match with Roman Reigns

WWE EXTREME RULES LIVE RESULTS

Undertaker put together an impressive performance at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania when he teamed up with Roman Reigns and defeated Shane McMahon as well as Drew McIntyre in a No Holds Barred Tag Team Match.

Taker looked sharp in the ring despite his advanced age of 54 as he took some really nasty bumps such as a Flying Elbow from McMahon from the top rope that saw him going through the announce desk at ringside after being floored by Elias who smashed a guitar to his back with a shock interference.

Shane-O-Mac then placed a trash can on The Deadman and took him out with a stunning Coast-to-Coast.

But The Phenom regrouped and delivered a devastating Chokeslam to both the ex-SmackDown Commissioner and Elias.

Reigns then hit a vicious Spear on McIntyre before Undertaker won the bout for his team with a Tombstone Piledriver on McMahon.

That fight was the exact opposite to The Last Outlaw’s disastrous dream match with Goldberg at WWE Super ShowDow in Saudi Arabia.

The encounter was marred with dangerous errors that saw Goldberg getting busted open, suffering a concussion and collapsing at ringside.

Undertaker picked up the victory but appeared to be disappointed with the quality of the bout after the bell.

But, according to professional wrestling pundit Brad Shepard,  Extreme Rules was a very different story as the ex-WWE Champion was “extremely happy” with how things transpired.

It was even reported that the former World Heavyweight Champion gave McIntyre a hug backstage as all four competitors were very pleased with their match.

Shepard tweeted: “According to a source in #WWE, the Undertaker was extremely happy post-match, and gave Drew McIntyre a hug.

“All four were very happy with that performance. #WWE.”

Rumours suggest Undertaker will also be in action at SummerSlam on August 11 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.

According to speculation, he may face McIntyre in Canada but the reports have been denied as the bout is more likely to take place at WrestleMania 36.
