Doctor Strange 2 teased in Spider-Man Far From Home Easter Egg?

They both returned at the end of Avengers Endgame after five years dead in the dust, but what has become of Doctor Strange? The Sorcerer Supreme had a brief mention in Spider-Man Far From Home, but did that tease Doctor Strange 2? The scene in question saw Nick Fury trying to persuade Peter Parker to help fight the Elementals. But Spider-Man asked if another Avenger could help out like Thor, Captain Marvel or Doctor Strange.

But Maria Hill said of Doctor Strange: “Unavailable”.

Screen Rant points out that this could be because of the events of Doctor Strange 2, which will presumably also take place in 2023 – just like Spider-Man Far From Home.

It’s been three years since Doctor Strange’s first solo outing, but his second is expected in Marvel Phase 4 around 2021 or 2022.

Having a time gap helps the movies catch up to match the year they’re released, as they mostly did before Avengers Endgame’s time jump.

The Freddie Krueger-esque being rules the Dream Dimension and rides a horse called Dreamstalker.

But it sounds like Nightmare won’t be the only villain, with Chiwetel Ejiofor’s Baron Mordo – who turned bad at the end of the last film – set to return too.

After all, Doctor Strange’s post-credits scene saw him teased as a future baddie.

Doctor Strange 2’s title and release date will likely be revealed at Marvel Studios’ panel at San Diego Comic-Con this month.
