Kevin Feige ‘Spider-Man Far From Home ends what Iron Man 1 started, NOT Avengers Endgame’

Back in April, Marvel’s epic Avengers Endgame concluded a 22 movie story arc that Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige has called The Infinity Saga. However, the producer has since revealed that Spider-Man Far From Home is the last movie in that storyline that began with the first Iron Man. The new Spider-Man movie had long been thought to be the first film in the next saga of the franchise, which starts with Marvel Phase 4. Yet Feige said it’s the last movie in Phase 3, causing some confusion among fans.

Now in a new soundbite for Chinese press, Feige has further teased that Avengers Endgame wasn’t the conclusion, but Spider-Man Far From Home is.

He said: “You’ve seen Avengers Endgame, but you haven’t seen it all yet.

“Spider-Man Far From Home…is the conclusion to the Infinity Saga.

“And what started with Iron Man 1, finally comes to fruition in Spider-Man Far From Home.”

In the latest trailer for the Avengers Endgame sequel, there’s a scene where Peter is seen wearing Tony’s glasses from Avengers Infinity War.

Fans have since speculated that Tony will have a message for Peter through a hologram, like at the end of Endgame.

Or perhaps there could even be an AI version of the dead superhero to guide Peter through his next adventure?

Spider-Man Far From Home is released in UK cinemas on July 2, 2019.
