11am UPDATE: Maurizio Sarri wants two Chelsea stars at Juventus

Maurizio Sarri is keen to take Jorginho and Emerson Palmieri with him to Juventus, according to reports.

Sarri recently left Chelsea to take over the Italian giants and The Times claim he has urged his new employers to move for the pair.

Midfielder Jorginho is a big favourite of Sarri who worked with at Napoli and took him to Chelsea in a £57million deal last summer.

Emerson became first-choice left-back at Stamford Bridge under Sarri and put in a string of impressive displays after breaking into the team.

Jorginho struggled at times last season and became a scapegoat among a section of Blues supporters after taking N’Golo Kante’s role at the base of midfield.

However, he remains crucial to Sarri’s style and Chelsea could now recoup most or all of what they paid to sign him.

Sarri spent just one season at Stamford Bridge and guided the club to third in the Premier League and the Europa League trophy.

Everton star Richarlison says he has spoken to Brazil team-mate David Neres over a possible move to Goodison Park in the summer.

Asked about Everton’s links, he said: “Yeah, I read something about that.

“I’ve spoken to him about it already. I told him the doors are open for him there, and that he could help us a lot.

“I hope he comes. He’d be very welcome there. I’ve known him since we played together for Brazil’s U20 side, and he’s a guy I get along with really well. Hopefully I’ll see him there.

“He’s a player who really attacks defenders and runs at his marker, so he’s got the right profile. With me and Bernard there, it would work really well.”

10am UPDATE: Timo Werner to Liverpool latest

RB Leipzig boss Ralf Rangnick has revealed the club are yet to receive an offer for striker Timo Werner but has urged him to try and find a new club.

Werner has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool in the summer and Rangnick believes it would be best for all involved if he left.

The German is about to enter the final year of his contract and Rangnick claims it will be ‘difficult’ for him to stay given his current situation.

However, he also says Leipzig are waiting to hear from interested clubs with Liverpool still the frontrunners to sign him.

“Timo is of the opinion that he does not want to extend the contract,” he said.

“So far, no club has reported their interest or said they would speak with Timo and want to sign him.

“It’s not a good idea for Timo to go into the final year of his contract, which could be difficult for his relationship with the fans depending on how his performance turns out.”

Manchester United want Barcelona duo Philippe Coutinho and Ivan Rakitic to replace Paul Pogba, it has been claimed.

The Red Devils are looking to strengthen this summer after a dismal campaign saw them finish down in sixth in the Premier League.

And Pogba has admitted he thinks it could be time for a new challenge.

The World Cup winner said: “Like you said, there is a lot of talking and a lot of thinking as well.

“For me I have been for three years in Manchester and have been doing great; some good moments and some bad moments, like everybody. Like everywhere else.

“After this season and everything that happened this season, with my season being my best season as well… I think for me it could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else.”

“I am thinking of this: to have a new challenge somewhere else.”

Now Mundo Deportivo claim United want Coutinho and Rakitic from Barcelona to fill any void left by Pogba.

Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham have all been linked with the 22-year-old.

He told Sky Sports: “No, you have just got to ignore that and take it all in your stride.

“As a 17 year-old boy I’d started five games for Coventry and saw on my phone that I was being linked with Tottenham and Liverpool.

“With transfer talk you need to take it as a compliment that people are even talking about you, it won’t distract me.”

8.40am UPDATE: Donny van de Beek to the Premier League?

Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek is “keen” on a move to the Premier League – and that will be welcome news to five clubs from England’s top flight in particular.

That’s according to Dutch football expert Marcel van der Kraan, who says Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham, Everton and Newcastle have all scouted the star.

“Indeed, van de Beek is probably the biggest chance of having a move,” Van der Kraan said of the Ajax contingent who could depart Amsterdam this summer.

“If I had to put my money on one I’d say, Donny van de Beek will go at some stage this summer.

“He is a perfect back-up for many clubs. I know he’s not the number one for many clubs.

“I’ve seen scouts from Tottenham, Man Utd, Everton, Liverpool, Newcastle all at the Amsterdam ArenA looking at him.”

He added: “I think he’s keen for the Premier League, more than the German or Italian leagues.”

8.20am UPDATE: Tottenham pull out of race for Youri Tielemans

Tottenham have pulled out of the race to sign Belgium midfielder Youri Tielemans, according to reports.

Spurs were said to be tracking Thielemans who impressed during a loan spell with Leicester in the second half of last season.

However, Football Insider say they have now been put off by his enormous asking valuation.

He is due to return to Monaco soon but is expected to leave for around £40million.

While Spurs might see that as too much, the news could be a huge boost to Manchester United as they have been heavily linked with a move as boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to strengthen his struggling squad.

Midfield is one of Solskjaer’s priority areas and they look set to lose record signing Paul Pogba after he admitted he wanted to seek a new challenge elsewhere.

8am UPDATE: Liverpool told to sign Wilfried Zaha

Liverpool should make a move for Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha this summer with Reds boss Jurgen Klopp ideal to manage the winger, says John Aldridge.

“Maybe they [Liverpool] should look into the possibility of recruiting Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace, who is rumoured to have made it clear he wants to move on to play Champions League football,” Aldridge wrote for The Sunday World.

“Zaha has given Liverpool some real problems in the last couple of years and Klopp’s ability to turn talents of his type into consistent performers has to make him the kind of player who could thrive at Anfield.”

Zaha scored 10 Premier League goals for Crystal Palace during the most recent season.

Manchester United star Pogba is attracting interest from Real Madrid and Juventus after a testing campaign at Old Trafford.

“After this season and everything that happened this season, with my season being my best season as well… I think for me it could be a good time to have a new challenge somewhere else.

“I am thinking of this: to have a new challenge somewhere else.”

And the Daily Mail say Woodward and other members of the United hierarchy have been distinctly unimpressed by the 26-year-old’s comments.

A source is quoted as saying: “It is safe to say that they are distinctly unimpressed with it.

“But as far as they’re concerned Pogba will be at the club next season.”

“He will have real authority, he won’t stand any nonsense,” Redknapp told The Sun.

“Eden Hazard has left and he is a fantastic player.

“No disrespect to any of the rest of them who are left, but none of them can look at Frank and think ‘I’m a bigger, better player’.

“He’s been a better player for Chelsea than any of them have been.

“That’s not a bad starting point for him. There won’t be anyone there he can’t handle.

6.15am UPDATE: Arsenal told to spend

Arsenal boss Unai Emery needs to be given a higher transfer budget if he is to succeed in the Premier League next season, Robert Pires claims.

Emery is believed to have a transfer budget of just £40million this summer.

The Spaniard has acknowledged his need to spend, and Pires believes extra funds is the only chance Emery has.

“I read that Arsenal have a small envelope for transfers, only £40m,” Pires said.

“My opinion is that it isn’t enough. If you want to build a good team, you need to spend a lot of money, especially in the Premier League.

“I respect Arsenal’s position and the owner, but everybody knows that if you want to win the Premier League, you need to spend a lot of money.

“All the top clubs want to sign great players, but if you want a great player it costs a lot of money.”
