Sky customers get huge boost TODAY and it's a FREE gift you won't want to miss

Sky Mobile customers are getting a free treat this weekend.

The satellite TV firm has announced that all of its users will get totally unlimited mobile data for the whole of Saturday and Sunday.

This means anyone who subscribes to Sky Mobile will be able to stream anything they want or download endless games and apps without it eating into their monthly data allowance.

Sky says it has revealed this offer to celebrate a major milestone – hitting one million customers.

Speaking about the data gift, Sophia Ahmad, Director of Sky Mobile, said: “Attracting more than one million customers in less than two and a half years shows the power and appeal of our fair and flexible mobile network.

“Market firsts, such as data rollover with Roll, have helped us reach this milestone.

“We are delighted to be able to celebrate with our customers by offering a weekend of free data.”

Sky Mobile already allows customers to automatically roll any unused data into a Piggybank which can then be accused if things get low.

And the firm recently revealed its new service which allows unlimited streaming on all Sky Apps like Sky Go, Sky Sports and Sky Kids without using anything from your monthly data plan.

The news of this deal comes as Sky has just announced that it is ramping up its exclusive content.

The satellite TV firm has just revealed that its investment in originals will more than double from the current level over the next five years.

Sky has seen some big success stories in recent months with its Chernobyl drama becoming its most successful Sky original production ever.

Speaking about the news, Jeremy Darroch, Group Chief Executive, Sky, said: “This is a transformational development for us.

“Sky Studios will drive our vision to be the leading force in European content development and production. Our ambition is to make Sky Studios famous for quality content and a place where Europe’s top creatives will want to do their best work.”
