VODAFONE DOWN – UPDATE ONE: The Vodafone network issues have been confirmed by one of the mobile service’s Twitter account.
The Vodafone Ireland Twitter has confirmed that they are investigating a “potential disruption” to their services.
The account tweeted: “We are currently investigating a potential disruption to our fixed and mobile services.
“We thank you for your patience as we work to get this resolved.”
ORIGINAL: Vodafone is down for hundreds of users that have reported issues with their 4G network and broadband services.
Independent outage monitor Down Detector has registered a surge of Vodafone down reports.
Out of those affected some 39 per cent are experiencing broadband issues while 33 per cent are having trouble with their Vodafone phone services.
As the reported Vodafone outage took place users flocked to social networking site Twitter to report problems with the service.
One fan tweeted: “#vodafonedown”.
Another posted: “#vodafone down?”
One added: “Massive @Vodafone outage right now affecting European users at least #vodafone #down”
And another wrote: “#Vodafone down and I’m resorting to carrier pigeons”.
