PS Plus Free Games WARNING: Download new PS4 game packs from PlayStation Store TODAY

Heading into the E3 2019 weekend, there won’t be quite so much PlayStation game news as past years.

However, that doesn’t mean that there are not plenty of free PS Plus game bonuses to find on the PlayStation Store.

There’s a good chance that some of Sony’s third-party partners will announce new content for the PS4 and the PS4 Pro.

This could be new trials and demos for upcoming games, or special open beta tests that won’t require a PlayStation Plus subscription.

But until we learn more about what is coming to the PlayStation Store in 2019, there are some new PS Plus bundles that can be downloaded today.

Path of Exile, the free-to-play action RPG may have only been available on the PS4 platform for a few months but fans already have a choice of free content packs to download.

These include two Path of Exile: PlayStation Plus Bundles, which are only available to those with an active PS Plus account.

This second pack launched just a few days ago and contains some special cosmetic items for Path of Exile fans.

By heading over to the PlayStation Store and claiming it, you will receive an Arctic Skull and an Ice Frog Pet.

Neither of these items will enhance your gear in any way, or give you an advantage but it certainly beats paying money for an official Starter Pack.

And as mentioned above, this new pack is the second to be released for Path of Exile since the game launched on PS4.

For those who have only just started playing, you can also claim the first PlayStation Plus bundle, which contains an Infernal Skull helmet skin and a Fire Frog pet.

It’s certainly the easiest and cheapest way to build up your Path of Exile frog pet army.

There are plenty of other packs available for fans to enjoy via their PlayStation Plus subscription, including cosmetic bundles for Apex Legends, Fortnite and Dauntless.

It follows news that Sony has just updated the PlayStation Store with a list of new discounts and deals.

The 2019 Days of Play promotion has begun, bringing with it over the next 11 days new discounts across all things PlayStation.

This means fans on PS4 and PSVR are included, while new deals on PS Plus memberships, PlayStation Now, PlayStation accessories and merchandise are also being teased.

The new promotion is set to run over the next two weeks, with deals becoming available during that time in both leading retailers and the PlayStation Store.

So it will be worth keeping an eye out for those new PS Plus membership deals during E3 2019.

And PS Plus gamers shouldn’t forget to add the new June 2019 free games to their PS4 libraries this week.

Sonic Mania and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store right now.

There are also rumours that a new Borderlands 2 DLC is set to be released on June 9, which would undoubtedly prove good timing.

It would mean that everyone who has downloaded the new Handsome Collection would have something new to play.

A message from PlayStation reads: “Now’s the time to revisit Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, and get up-to-speed with Gearbox’s fan-favourite loot-focussed FPS series.

“Not only does The Handsome Collection include all DLC for both titles, enhanced local multiplayer and remastered visuals, but if you played either title on PS3 your game save will carry over so you can pick up where you left off.”
