Federer has played against 350 different opponents in his illustrious career but he will be playing a fresh face when he steps on to Court Philippe Chatrier today.
And the Swiss star admits he has never seen Otte play before.
“I have never heard the name Oscar Otte,” Federer said.
“But that’s always the case, that you meet such players. I’ve just learned that he’s right-handed and double-handedly playing backhand.
“Unfortunately, I have not seen any point from him. But I still have time and my team can do some research.”
