The 16-time world champion was asked about his new girlfriend but didn’t wish to open up too much about his personal life.
The former World Heavyweight Champion, though, hinted that he is happy in his new relationship.
Cena only had this to say to Extra TV: “I’m always happy.”
The ex-WWE Champion has been wrestling on a part-time basis with Vince McMahon’s promotion since 2017 due to his advanced age of 42 and his busy Hollywood schedule.
The wrestler-turned-actor has taken part in various blockbuster hits like Trainwreck, Daddy’s Home 1 and 2 as well as the Transformers spinoff Bumblebee.
He has also co-starred with some of the biggest names in the industry like Mark Wahlberg, Will Ferrell, Amy Poehler and more.
Rumours suggest that the wrestling legend is now set to play a major role in the Suicide Squad sequel.
Vin Diesel also teased that Cena will soon be joining the Fast & Furious franchise.
The heavyweight’s most recent WWE appearance took place at WrestleMania 35 where he returned as his old Dr of Thuganomics persona.
The ex-US Champion took out Elias with an Attitude Adjustment following a brutal verbal takedown.
His next WWE appearance is not certain as he is now focusing on his upcoming movie roles.
