Ivanka Trump knew 'ALMOST NOTHING' of Trump Tower and has 'ZERO CONCERN' on Mueller probe

The first daughter said she had nearly no knowledge of plans to construct a Trump Tower in the Russian capital while Mr Trump was campaigning to be US president in 2016. Mr Trump’s eldest daughter, who is also a White House adviser, was adamant she had not spoken to anybody outside her father’s circle about the alleged Moscow deal. Special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into Russian interference in the US election and possible collusion has sharpened on Trump Tower.

But speaking on Friday, Ms Trump said she has “zero concern” about the Mueller investigation.

She told ABC : ”I never talked to with a third party outside of the organisation about it.

“It was one of, I mean we could have had 40 or 50 deals like that, that were floating around, that somebody was looking at.

“Nobody visited it to see if it was worth our time, so this was not exactly like an advanced project.”

When asked about the Mueller investigation, she said: “There’s nothing there, yet it’s created weeks and weeks and months of headlines.”

Ms Trump also dismissed fears about doing business in Russia, claiming it was “not like it’s a strange thing” to have property there.

“Ms Trump did not know about this proposal until after a non-binding letter of intent had been signed, never talked to anyone outside the organisation about the proposal, never visited the prospective project site and, even internally, was only minimally involved.”

She added: “We’re not talking about Iran. It was Russia.

“And we weren’t even advanced enough that anyone had even visited the prospective project site.

“So it really was just a non-factor in our minds. I’m not sure that anyone would have thought of it.”

Mr Trump’s proposed project hit the headlines in November when his ex-lawyer Michael Cohen admitted he lied to to Congress about efforts to build Trump Tower.

The US President ordered Mr Cohen to lie to Congress, according to online news site BuzzFeed.

Mr Trump signed a letter of intent in October 2015 to progress with Trump Tower negotiations.

His attorney Rudy Giuliani has claimed the document was never signed.
