Amazon Echo new price cut but you'll need to be quick to get this ultimate offer

The Echo Dot is Amazon’s entry-level smart speaker.

This clever device was updated late last year with it now offering improved audio and a much more appealing design.

The original Dot landed in homes with a plastic finish but this new speaker now gets softer edges and case that’s covered in fabric.

Amazon’s upgrade has clearly been hugely popular with this device being hard to get hold of since December.

In fact, it’s now completely out stock on the firm’s website with shipping dates slipping to March.

You can still order the Dot from Amazon with the retail giant slashing the price to just £29.99 but you won’t get one straight away.

If you want the Charcoal Fabric model it will arrive on March 8, Heather Grey Fabric ships on March 10 and the Sandstone Fabric will be ready by March 6.

Luckily there is a way to get one a lot faster with Very.co.uk not only having Dots in stock but also offering a price cut as well.

The retailer is selling the Dot for £29.99 with shipping times currently just one-day meaning customers should get one almost straight away.

Although this is a very good deal it’s worth noting that Very says stock is running out fast so you might need to be quick if you want to get this discount.

THE VERY DEAL IS HERE

You’ll also have to opt for the Charcoal Fabric model as both the Heather Grey Fabric and Sandstone Fabric are both unavailable.

Along with the Echo Dot being on offer right now, there is another good deal on these smart speakers.

Amazon has just dropped the price of its standard Echo to just £69 which is a saving of £20.

All colours are available as part of this deal and this more premium device is in stock with one-day shipping on offer.

As a quick reminder, the Amazon Echo use the Alexa voice assistant to perform a swathe of tasks which include controlling the lights, answering questions, checking the local weather and playing your favourite tunes.

You can also set timers and alerts or listen to the radio via simple voice commands.
