The 70-year-old former Black Sabbath singer was due to start his solo tour on Wednesday, January 30 in Dublin. However, this afternoon his support act Judas Priest have announced that the first four shows have been postponed due to Ozzy’s illness. A statement from Judas Priest reads: “It is with great regret we have to announce that the first four UK shows on the Ozzy Osbourne/Judas Priest tour have been postponed due to Ozzy having a very bad case of flu. Therefore Dublin, Nottingham, Manchester and Newcastle will be rescheduled at a later date º details to follow once finalised.”
They added: “ We are very sorry that this has happened and to disappoint so many fans.
“We wish Ozzy well and look forward to the Glasgow, Birmingham and London shows together – and to the rescheduled ones in the future.”
Ozzy’s next scheduled show is Glasgow on Thursday, February 7, so presumably, his management thinks he will be back to good health by then.

OZZY CONFIRMS HE’S NOT RETIRING
Announcing the No More Tours II tour last year Ozzy said: “I’ve been extremely blessed to have had two successful music careers.
“I’m looking at this final tour as being a huge celebration for my fans and anyone who has enjoyed my music over the past five decades.
“People keep asking me when I’m retiring. This will be my final world tour, but I can’t say I won’t do some shows here and there.”
