WARNING POTENTIAL SPOILERS FOR AVENGERS ENDGAME AHEAD
A number of Marvel fan favourites have kicked the bucket in recent MCU movies, none more so than at the end of Avengers Infinity War. However, a toy leak listing on one website features some of the characters down to appear in Avengers Endgame. But just how does that work?
Firstly, the Ancient One is listed on Ozzie Collectables with Doctor Strange and Wong. She died in 2016’s Doctor Strange, so how can she be alive?
Meanwhile, Gamora and Loki were both murdered by Thanos before the Snap in Avengers Infinity War and they’re down to appear in Endgame too.
Lastly, there are three characters who died in the Snap: Doctor Strange, who has already been mentioned, plus Iron Spider and The Wasp.

After all, Doctor Strange traded the Time Stone for Iron Man’s life to ensure the “endgame” occurred. i.e. the one possible future he viewed in which the Avengers defeat Thanos.
However, the Ancient One, Gamora and Loki are a bit more tricky to explain.
Certainly, the latter two have popped up in some revealing Avengers Endgame set photos and videos.
Loki was in a recreation of scenes from the first Avengers movie, while Gamora was wearing her costume from the first Guardians of the Galaxy film in a scene with Ant-Man.
Taking this into account and the Ancient One’s involvement, it seems like that time travel will play a key role in Avengers Endgame.
Our best bet is that the surviving Avengers will venture into the Quantum Realm and revisit key moments in past MCU movies to gather the Infinity Stones before Thanos did in Avengers Infinity War.
No doubt the Ancient One will be key as a master of the multi-verse and different realities, including the Quantum Realm which featured briefly in Doctor Strange as well as the Ant-Man movies.
Avengers Endgame will be released in UK cinemas on April 26, 2019.
