Samsung fans shouldn’t have too long to wait before they get their first glimpse of the new Galaxy S10.
All signs point to a February launch with a recent leak suggesting Wednesday 20th could be the date to put in your diary.
Although there’s still no confirmation of what will feature on this new flagship it’s thought it will get all the usual upgrades including a much faster processor, bigger battery and more internal storage with some even suggesting a massive 1TB model could be inbound.
A slight design tweak could also see Samsung push the screen to the very edges of the device with the bezels almost appearing invisible.
Unlike most of its rivals, it’s thought Samsung won’t include the controversial notch design on the S10 and will instead punch the front-facing camera out of the display.
Along with this new selfie camera, there’s likely to be some major improvements to the rear camera as well.
We’re expecting to see the S10 pack a triple rear snapper into its glass and metal body with this trio of cameras able to shoot images with improved zoom and wide angle option.
One final change could arrive in the form of reverse wireless charging which will allow the S10 to refill other devices simply by touching them.
Huawei has already featured this option on its Mate 20 Pro and it seems Samsung will follow with its own take on this technology.
There’s clearly plenty to be excited about and now there’s a very simple way to make sure you get the launch news first.
EE has just launched the option to give fans a way of hearing what’s coming next from Samsung as soon as it’s announced.
On its website, the mobile network says: “Big news! The new Samsung Galaxy is about to change your world.
“We can’t say much more at the moment, but it’s safe to say you can start getting excited.”
There’s then a way for customers to register for updates on this new device which you can find here.
It’s worth knowing that one final rumour suggests the S10 will arrive in three styles with a Lite and Plus model joining the lineup.
Prices for the entry-level S10 Lite could start from £669 with the standard S10 getting a £799 price tag.
If you want the S10 Plus then expect to pay a premium with this colossal call maker possibly starting from £899.
