Cheryl HITS BACK at 'overshadowing the bride' comments as she shares unseen snaps

Cheryl, 35, took to her Instagram today to share unseen snaps of her best moments from this year, including a picture of her sporting an extravagant outfit. In view of her 3.7 million followers, the singer posted two pictures of her wearing a daring sheer frock adorned in sequins and feathers, which strategically covered her private areas. The mother-of-one beamed as she made her way into the wedding of Nigel Hall, the global head of TV for Syco, and Philip Bates back in September. Other guests at the ceremony included Bradley Walsh as best man and Amanda Holden.

Cheryl stunned in the eye-grabbing frock but appeared to have received comments who claimed she was upstaging the bride.

Hitting back today, she wrote: “Them: How could you wear such a thing to a wedding? I bet the bride was upset,” followed by an angry emoji.

“Me: There wasn’t one,” she added, followed by two male emojis.

Cheryl went on to document her best moments of the past 12 months which included snaps with her best friends and Girls Aloud stars Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh and other pictures from her holidays.

Despite sharing her best moments, Cheryl announced her split from One Direction star Liam Payne, 25, back in July.

The former couple got together in 2016 and had their son Bear last year.

The duo announced their split via their official Twitter pages.

In view of her 6.15 million followers, she wrote: “We are sad to announce that we are going our separate ways.

“It’s been a tough decision for us to make. We still have so much love for each other as a family.

“Bear is our world and we ask that you respect his privacy as we navigate our way through this together.”

Elsewhere, Cheryl recently hit back at rumours that she doesn’t get along with her The Greatest Dancer co-star Oti Mabuse, 28.

The latter and Cheryl will act as dance captains on BBC’s The Greatest Dancer alongside Matthew Morrison in January.

A source previously told The Sun the duo “didn’t seem to gel” during filming for the show which left the atmosphere “uncomfortable”.

A representative for Cheryl told Express.co.uk: “It’s a fabricated story – yet again trying to pit female against female on a TV show.

“It’s a shame we haven’t moved past this.

“Cheryl absolutely loves working with Oti and has a brilliant relationship with her.”

The Greatest Dancer will air on Saturday nights from Saturday on BBC One.
