Liverpool transfer news: Doubts over £45.2m deal revealed by agent Ivan Pirozhenko

That is the verdict of football agent Ivan Pirozhenko, who says Dynamo might struggle to find a buyer for the winger at that price.

Premier League leaders Liverpool have enjoyed a stellar first half of the season and remain unbeaten after 19 top-flight games.

But Jurgen Klopp will not be resting on his laurels with Tottenham and Manchester City serious contenders for the title too.

Marca claim Liverpool have been keeping tabs on Ukraine international Tsyhankov with an opportunity to sign players on the horizon in the form of the January transfer window.

Tottenham have also been credited with interest in getting the 21-year-old on board, while Bayern Munich are said to be admirers too.

However, Pirozhenko has doubts over whether any club will be willing to push the boat out with Dynamo demanding at least £45.2m (€50m) for Tsyhankov.

“Market value is a very conditional concept, and therefore, as a rule, no one makes a start from it,” Pirozhenko told Ukrainian newspaper Segodnya.

“A football player costs as much as one club is ready to let go and acquire another.

“As far as I know, Dynamo wants at least €50m for Tsyhankov, and I can understand them: this is their leader, the leading player. But will there be buyers?”

Tsyhankov would bolster an attacking department already boasting an array of talent if he was to join Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp has Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Xherdan Shaqiri and Daniel Sturridge at his disposal.

While Divock Origi, Dominic Solanke and youngster Rhian Brewster are ready to step in if required.

Liverpool have scored 43 Premier League goals so far this season, with only City netting more.

And they kept up their impressive form in front of goal by beating Newcastle 4-0 on Boxing Day.

Klopp will be eager for Liverpool to put Arsenal to the sword when Unai Emery and co. visit Anfield on Saturday.

The Reds and Gunners drew 1-1 in November, with Alexandre Lacazette’s strike cancelling out James Milner’s opener.
