Katie Piper, 35, took to her Twitter account today and revealed to her 308,000 followers she had a spray tan in a “bizarre effort” to look more toned. Her tweet read: “Just had December spray tan, bizarre effort to look more toned after the past days of ploughing through every sausage roll in sight.” It seemingly appeared her fans could relate as one person replied: “Just sausage rolls? “I ploughed through chocolate, crisps, rhubarb and ginger pies. I could go on but you get the idea.”
A second person said: “Mince pies too!,” while another quipped: “It’s that @bbcstrictly rubbing off on you!
“Just been watching reruns of you, my four-year-old still loves watching you!”
Katie was voted out of Strictly Come Dancing in week four of the competition after an intense dance-off with Charles Venn.
Paired with Strictly professional Gorka Marquez, the dancing duo were sent home by the judges after they chose to keep Charles in the competition.

Meanwhile, Katie shared a post on her Instagram account on Christmas where she reflected on her horrific acid attack in 2008.
In view of her 829,000 followers she wrote: “First pic Christmas tonight@ Second pic Christmas last year. Third pic Christmas seven years ago. Fourth pic Christmas nine years ago.
The acid attack survivor looked happy and healthy in the first picture, as she marked her progress since the incident nine years ago.
The second image showed Katie lying in bed with her youngest daughter Penelope, who was born shortly before Christmas last year.
In the third image, the philanthropist and author posed for a selfie, displaying the scars on her face and neck from the acid attack for which two men, including her ex, were jailed.
“Time flies, mindset changes, new challenges arise but always grateful for life,” she said
Meanwhile Katie has recently launched her new book titled Katie Piper’s Confidence, The Journal which she described as “practising gratitude for our lives”.
She revealed she used the journal during her time on Strictly and hopes it will have a positive impact for her readers.
Katie said: “[The book] is the gift of confidence. I hope it will help people think in a more positive way and in a kinder way that isn’t about okay, change your hair, lose weight, buy new clothes.”
