The Only Way Is Essex star Gemma Collins, 37, who is partnered up with professional Matt Evers, 42, said she is taking part in the show for the “all the women out there”. Spilling all, the Dancing On Ice star added she is competing for “all the curvy dolls out there” adding it is “never too late” to try something new. She continued: “I’m doing this show to show all the ladies out there that it doesn’t matter what size you are or who you are, you can achieve anything and that’s important for me. I’m doing it for all the women out there.
“I always remember from a young age wanting a pair of those white skating boots.
“It’s never too late to have fun and it’s never too late to try something you haven’t done before and for any women out there to think well I’m too big or overweight to be a skater, then it’s never too late.”
The business woman went on to say she fears getting an injury on the challenging show.
She continued: “This is the biggest challenge I’ve ever faced, definitely.

Despite her determination, host Phillip Schofield, 56, said it would be “a miracle” if she makes it past the first show.
He said: “I think the nation is intrigued to see Gemma! Now we know who she is partnered up with and Matt will be absolutely brilliant with her.
“I’ve said it to Gemma, ‘If you make the first show it’ll be a miracle’ and she does seem very committed.
“We all know Gemma for being a bit of a quitter so I’m hoping she’ll be there for that first show.
“I think she’ll be actually very good!
“I think she is surprisingly good, so I think that would be great to see.”
Gemma will face competition against the likes of ex PussyCat Doll Melody Thornton, Saira Khan and Brian McFadden.
Next year’s line-up also includes Coronation Street star Jane Danson and former Strictly Come Dancing pro James Jordan.
Last year’s judges Jason Gardiner, Jayne Torvill, Christopher Dean and Ashley Banjo will return as the show’s judges.
