Samsung Galaxy S10 news could be the ultimate reason to buy the Galaxy S9

The Galaxy S10 is almost certain to be the first big launch from next year.

This all-new phone could bring a swathe of upgrades to this popular brand with rumours suggesting the device will include a fully edge-to-edge screen which will stretch across the entire phone.

With no bezels in sight, this will mean the Korean company may offer a front-facing camera which is punched out of the display rather than adopting the controversial notch design now found on many Apple and Android devices.

Other new features could include an embedded fingerprint scanner under the display, much fast processor and a triple rear camera.

One final upgrade could arrive in the form of reverse wireless charging which will allow other devices to get a refill simply by being placed on top of the S10.

vCard QR Code

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

Huawei’s Mate 20 Pro already offers this capability and it seems Samsung now wants to follow its main Chinese rival with something similar.

These all sound like big updates but the latest news, , suggests this technology will come at a very high price.

Although not confirmed it appears there will be three versions of the S10 including a Lite and Plus model.

Prices for the entry-level S10 Lite could start from £669 with the standard S10 getting a £799 price tag.

If you want the S10 Plus then expect to pay a premium with this colossal call maker possibly starting from £899.

However, Samsung may release this larger phone with a whopping 1TB of storage and that phone could push through the £1,390 barrier.

If true, this will make it the most expensive Galaxy S phone to date and may make it much less affordable to some consumers.

Whilst the S10 appears to be getting a higher price Samsung’s current S9 is getting some very good reductions right now that make it an attractive option.

This flagship phone can now be picked up for under £580 from stores such as Amazon and there are also some very good contracts on offer.

Right now you can take delivery of a new S9 for as little as £23 per month with Samsung even offering £100 cashback to those who purchase this flagship.

This low price includes 3GB of data, 1,000 minutes and unlimited texts with the total over two years costing just £608 – that could be £60 less than the S10 Lite on a SIM-free plan.

We’ll have to wait and see exactly how much the S10 really costs but fans may not have long to find out.

Samsung is expected to reveal its phone in February with Gizmodo exposing the 20th of that month for the big Samsung reveal.
