And now there are predictions being made about Bloodborne 2 being a possible launch title.
In a new video posted by the excellent VaatiVidya, the YouTube star and big Souls fan suggests that From Software could be readying a sequel or prequel to Bloodborne.
As previously reported, From Software PSVR title Deracine features an item referred to as the Fiona Doll, which contains an interesting nod to Bloodborne.
The item description reads: “A doll of the stone girl Fiona, who appears in the unfinished tale. When a person has a bad dream, Fiona appears and helps them flee.”
The doll is also performing the ‘Make Contact’ gesture, which suggests that the Bloodborne tale isn’t over.
But VaatiVidya also points towards a book that can be found within Deracine called Blood and Bones.
VaatiVidya suggests that the next Bloodborne game could be set in Loran before it was consumed by sand.
With Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice launching on PS4 and Xbox One next year, any potential Bloodborne sequel would likely be saved for the PS5 in 2020.
It’s also rumoured that many studios are in possession of a PS5 dev kit, which is described as a monster.
Whether news of a PS5 release date is shared early next year or not, it seems like there is plenty of gaming reveals to look forward to in 2019.
