Stacey Dooley: Strictly star in sexy dance with Kevin Clifton's co-star after major news

Ashley uploaded a short clip of how they were preparing for Musicals Week in view of her 356,000 followers.

While she sat at the mirror while singing along to some background music, Stacey and Anton bust a groove.

She flashed her midriff in a tiny black top which she teamed with matching trousers, while her companion was seen in his costume for the opening routine to an ABBA medley.

The TV regular will have to get used to performing with someone other than Kevin, after it was revealed he would not be going on tour.

Stacey will instead dance with Aljaz Skorjanec, who was previously dancing with Kate Silverton before their exit last month.

“I will miss Kev, but I am looking forward to putting Aljaz through his paces!” she previously said.

Stacey continued: “I’m loving this experience so much. I know people always say that, but it’s so true.

“To be able to go on tour and perform for the fans all over the UK is such an honour. I’m so excited!”

Kevin has other work commitments and will be playing the role of Stacee Jaxx on the Rock of Ages tour from January.

Joe Sugg and his current dance partner Dianne Buswell will also be hitting the road, alongside Dr Ranj Singh and Janette Manrara.

The Strictly Come Dancing UK Arena Tour kicks off on January 18 at the Arena Birmingham, and will conclude on February 10 at London’s O2.

Last night, Stacey and Kevin were just two points away from the top of their leaderboard thanks to their American Smooth (Foxtrot) to I Dreamed A Dream from Les Miserables.

Head judge Shirley Ballas told them: “There are some times in our life when we do something so magical that we capture it in our heart and stay there forever, and that was that.

“It was seamless. I loved everything from beginning to end.”

Craig Revel Horwood stated: “It wasn’t technically perfect, but that didn’t matter because you took this away. It was real, honest and truthful.”

Strictly Come Dancing 2018 continues tonight at 7.20pm on BBC One.
