And according to Spanish paper AS, Barca and Liverpool have reached an agreement that the La Liga giants can’t sign a player from the Anfield outfit for the next three years.
The news will no doubt make Klopp feel happy as he had to fend off interest for Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane last summer.
Meanwhile, Klopp has been warned there is no rush to sign Dembele.
ESPN FC pundit Craig Burley said: “I don’t think there is a rush to sign him at the moment no.
“Neither is there a rush to sell him, yet.”
Dembele has now started to get a regular run in the Barcelona starting XI.
After starting the first seven La Liga games of the campaign, he hasn’t started in any of the last five.
And Luis Suarez has admitted he’s happy to help his team-mate yet.
“I have not lost patience with him, he has a special talent and we have to help him,” he said.
“Being a football player is a real privilege.
“He should basically concentrate on football.”
