Pokemon Go Community Day countdown: Beldum event start, end time, Shiny, special move

October Community Day event is about to begin on iOS and Android.

The October Community Day event takes place between 10am and 1pm UK time on Sunday, October 21.

Beldum takes centre stage during the event, which is good news if you’re yet to capture a Metang or Metagross.

And it’s definitely worth evolving your Beldum during the event, because your Pokemon will learn a unique special move.

Confirming earlier reports, fans who evolve a Metang into Metagross will learn the exclusive Meteor Mash move.

And special moves aren’t the only bonuses available during Community Day.

Lures will last for the duration of the event, while egg hatching distances will be heavily reduced.

Needless to say, fans will also be able to capture a shiny Beldum and potentially evolve it all the way to a shiny Metagross.

Niantic has also revealed the date for the November event. The November event will take place three weeks after the October Community Day on November 10.

Pokemon Go fans are also counting down to the start of the 2018 Halloween event.

The 2017 Halloween event kicked off on Friday, October 20, and ran until November 2.

Last year’s event coincided with the release of Gen 3 Pokemon such as Shuppet, Banette, Sableye, Duskull and Dusclops.

Fans were also treated to a special limited time Pikachu, not to mention bonus Candy from hatching, catching and transferring Pokemon.

The next Halloween event is almost certain to start within the next week, and could feature a range of Gen 4 Pokemon.

This includes Drifloon, Mismagius, Dusknoir, Froslass, Spiritomb and Drifblim.
