
Pokemon Go players around the world can finally get their hands on 24 brand new entries for their Pokedex.
The latest Pokemon Go update introduces some well-familiar creatures from the Pokemon Diamond and Pearl games.
Pokemon Go creators at Niantic Labs teased the regional update last week with a picture of the fire-type starter Pokemon Chimchar.
With a bit of luck and patience, Chimchar together with water-type Piplup and grass-type Turtwig can now all be caught.
Niantic said: “The world of Pokémon GO is evolving once again!

The Gen IV Pokemon will make their way into Pokemon Go in waves, over a number of weeks.

Currently, Pokemon Go has only introduced 24 out of the 107 Pokemon from the Sinnoh region and that includes evolutions.

Rumour has it, Niantic might line up the release of some ghost-type Gen IV Pokemon just in time for Halloween.
If true, we could see the ghost-flying type balloon Pokemon Drifblim or ghost-dark Spritiomb make a surprise entry.
Pokemon Gen IV legendaries Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf, Dialga, Palkia, Heatran, Regigigas, Giratina, Cresselia, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin and Arceus will likely be reserved for special community day events, raids and challenges.
