Fortnite news: Halloween 2018 LEAK, new skins and Llama Locations

Epic Games has kicked off season 6 with plenty of new content and a big event on the horizon.

Fortnite Halloween 2018 looks set to be a big deal and will likely include some top new skins.

And from how the development team have decided to start releasing decorations and costumes into the game already, it seems likely it’s going to be a big deal.

Epic Games haven’t announced if they are going to introduce a new LTM, gear and other items for the spooky holidays, but it wouldn’t be surprising if they did.

The High Stakes included all of these things and proved very popular with fans.

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

And it just so happens that data miners have found more Halloween stuff that’s going to be coming to the game very soon.

Fans have noticed all the new decorations and ghost costumes that have been appearing in different parts of the map this week.

And it looks like Epic Games will be adding to this in the near future.

The next piece of decoration coming to the game looks to be a Tubeman Llama, not something you could predict.

This will comes with the usual inflatable piece, along with a stand, that comes in the colour purple.

This is probably just one of many new props and changes Epic Games has planned for the holiday.

Fans are also expecting the return of the Skull Trooper skin, who recently popped up in the season 6 trailer.

There doesn’t seem to be much other reason to include the season 1 design in the seasonal switchover unless it’s going to play some kind of role.

As usual, Epic Games are trying to keep everything pretty quiet but if Halloween is going to be a big celebration, you can expect some kind of announcement in the weeks to come.

Another big talking point is the new week 1 challenges, which were recently released by Epic Games.

And it looks like Fortnite fans are struggling with one of the new battle star tasks.

One of this week’s ‘Search’ challenges is separated into three stages.

It starts off straightforward enough, with stage one challenging players to search three chests.

These are usually found in attics, basements and other hard to reach places, and are accompanied by their own sound effect.

The next phase is a bit trickier, as players must search two supply Drops. These tend to drop later in the game – so keep an eye on the skies when the numbers start to dwindle.

You’ll also need to be careful not to get picked off by a sniper when searching for the loot.

For the final stage, players must search a single Supply Llama location, which is when things get really complicated.

There’s usually only a handful on the map at any one time, and they pop up in completely random locations. I’ve found a couple on cliff edges and by the banks of different streams.

It just one of a number of new challenges that can be completed this week, before the next set of battle star tasks are released.

Following update 6.0 going live, a wealth of new designs were leaked online.

Two Epic Buddies have collated all of the skins, and Battle Pass rewards leaked earlier this week and put them into one handy image.

The image – which can be seen below – features all manner of new items, skins and emotes.

A second image showcases some of the pets, colour variations, evolved characters and even a mystery character.

Many of these designs are set to be released during the season, with some having already released by Epic Games.

The new Air Heart outfit and Heidi cosmetic went live earlier this week, so fans can cross them off the list.

The Aviation Age Gear was available to purchase during the weekend, with both designs costing 1,200 V-Bucks and the Dirigible Glider costing the same.

More designs will also be added to the Fortnite Shop over the coming weeks, with each content update expected to contain additional cosmetics.
