The asteroids will skim the planet between Sunday, September 2, and Monday, September 3.
The space rocks are estimated to measure between 177ft (54m) and 2,690 ft (820m) in diameter, at most, meaning at least two of them are “potentially hazardous asteroids” (PHAs).
PHAs are asteroids no smaller than 459ft (140m) which approach the planet within 0.05 Astronomical Units (au) or about 6.45 million miles (7.5 million km).
The first of the three asteroids, dubbed asteroid 2001 RQ17, will whizz by on Sunday.
NASA expects RQ17 to skim the planet at a distance of 0.04949au or 4.6 million miles (7.4 million km).

The US space agency estimates the asteroid’s diameter is somewhere in the 262.5ft (80m) to 590.5ft (180m) range.
The higher size estimate would make the asteroid bigger than the imposing St Paul’s Cathedral in London and the lower, the equivalent of four double decker buses in a row.
The second and third asteroid will zip by the following day on Monday.
The bigger of the two asteroids, Asteroid 2015 FP118, measures a staggering 1,148 feet (350m) to 2690 feet (820m) in diameter.
If NASA’s upper estimate is correct, FP118 could be an absolute cataclysm if it were to hit the Earth.
The giant space rock will skim the planet at a safe distance of 12.3 lunar distances (LD) or 12 times the distance from the Earth to the Moon.
This is roughly equivalent to 0.03144au or 2.9 million miles (4.7 million km).
The third space rock is Asteroid 2018 QA and is the smallest of the trio.
NASA estimates QA measures roughly between 177ft (54m) and 394ft (120m).
The asteroid will approach the planet within 17.43LD or 4.1 million miles (6.7 million km).
All three asteroids are listed on NASA’s Near-Earth Object (NEO) its of Earth Close Approaches.
The distance between the asteroids and the Earth might seem to large to comprehend when observed from Earth but are insignificant on the a cosmic scale.
The European Space Agency (ESA) said: “Space is huge. It is so immense that it is very difficult to imagine the distances involved, even between the objects in our local neighbourhood, the solar system.”
The three asteroids come after the close approach of Asteroid NF23 – a gigantic asteroid larger than the Great Pyramids of Giza.
Asteroid NF23 barrelled past the planet on Wednesday, August 29, coming within three million miles (4.8 million km) of Earth.
