Meghan Markle snubbed at American TV awards – what award did she lose out on?

Meghan Markle was the star of US cable drama Suits for a number of years.

The former-actress, in her late 30s, played the part of Rachel Zane in the drama before she married Prince Harry.

Fairly well known for the role, Meghan also ran a successful lifestyle website.

Duchess Meghan received a nomination at the 2018 Teen Choice Awards in the US this month.

Meghan was nominated for the Choice Style Icon award.

Despite the recent skyrocketing fame, it wasn’t enough to secure Meghan the number one spot.

It was reported that Meghan politely declined to attend the Teen Choice Awards this year.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have revealed their plans for August. 

According to experts it will be a “very busy time for them”.

According to Ross King of Lorraine fame, the couple have plans to attend hit musical, Hamilton.  

The special performance will be in aid of Harry’s charity, Sentebale, which helps people affected by HIV in Africa.
