UFC News: Conor McGregor receives chilling message, Joe Rogan on Miocic, Darren Till talks

UFC News – Conor McGregor receives chilling message from Khabib Nurmagomedov

New UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov has told Conor McGregor he’s willing to fight him anywhere and anytime.

Moments after McGregor learned his fate for his antics at the 223 media day, Nurmagomedov posted a picture of himself to Instagram with the accompanying caption: “Send me location.”

McGregor, 30, hasn’t set foot inside the Octagon since claiming the lightweight title in the main event of UFC 205, where he became the promotion’s first simultaneous two-weight world champion.

UFC News – Joe Rogan discusses heavyweight title picture

commentator Joe Rogan believes former heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic deserves an immediate rematch with Daniel Cormier.

“He should [get a rematch]. People are thinking, the guy wins more UFC title defenses than anybody on the history of the sport and becomes the most accomplished heavyweight of all time,” Rogan said during a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast.

“Think about what he’s done. Think about the fact that he knocks out Fabricio Werdum to win the title, he knocks out Alistair Overeem to defend the title, he knocks out Junior dos Santos, beats Francis when everybody is terrified of Francis.

“He became the most accomplished heavyweight of all time. Then he gets knocked out by a crazy, perfect punch by Daniel Cormier in a perfect strategy.”

UFC News – Darren Till discusses weight cut ahead of Tyron Woodley fight

Darren Till has revealed he’ll start cutting weight for his welterweight title fight earlier than he did for his Fight Night 130 bout with Stephen Thompson.

“Usually I always leave it until I have a big cut, because I know I can do the big cut,” Till told MMA NYTT’s Jim Edwards.

“But maybe because I’m growing and getting bigger and older, maybe it’s time to get the weight down early.

“I want to get the weight down early, so there’s no problems, and make weight healthy.”
