Joseph Parker net worth: How much is New Zealander worth ahead of Dillian Whyte fight?

Parker is on the path to regaining his WBO title which he lost Anthony Joshua in March.

The points defeat was the first of the New Zealander’s career and to have another shot at the champion he must overcome Whyte.

But a defeat will dash any hopes of a reunion with Joshua – and will also have serious implications on the rest of his career.

“He knows what is at stake,” promoter Dave Higgins explained.

“He knows that this is critical and that if he does not win this fight, it is going to be a long, hard road back [to a world title].”

But how much is Parker worth?

Joseph Parker net worth

While exact figures are notoriously hard to come by, the best guess as to the 26-year-old’s value prior to his bout with Joshua was around £1.5million.

However, Parker is said to have pocketed £13m from his clash with AJ – blasting his previous best of £1.1m (vs Hughie Fury) out of the water.

The stakes are much lower during his showdown with Whyte and both fighters are expected to earn around £1m, although the home fighter will bank the slight majority.

Dillian Whyte vs Joseph Parker details

Whyte and Parker are not the only boxers on show on Saturday night and buying the fight will allow you to watch the entire undercard, which should be an entertaining one.

Dereck Chisora is taking on Carlos Takam in a well-matched heavyweight fight while Anthony Fowler, Conor Benn, Katie Taylor and Joshua Buatsi will all also be out.

But the high-quality card will set you back £19.95 whether you want to watch it on TV or online.

Existing Sky customers will be able to buy the fight on their remote by going to channel 491, pressing Box Office, selecting Sports and Events and using the arrow buttons to highlight the event.

You can also buy the fight over the phone for a £2 booking fee, although if you do so after midnight on Friday July 27 you will pay £24.95.
