Fortnite shop UPDATE July 21: New leaked season 5 Skins LIVE today

A new set of season 5 skins can be downloaded today from the Fortnite item shop.

This includes the Chomp Snr skins which leaked with a range of other season 5 outfits, most of which have not been launched by Epic Games, so far.

The first of these new designs included the Viking Magnus skin, which was available to buy close to the start of season 5.

This has been followed by the legendary Chomp Snr skin, which is now available to buy from the item shop.

Due to it being ranked in the highest rarity category, the new outfit costs a hefty 2,000 V-Bucks.

vCard.red is a free platform for creating a mobile-friendly digital business cards. You can easily create a vCard and generate a QR code for it, allowing others to scan and save your contact details instantly.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.

But while the new Fin-Tastic look is sure to prove popular with those hoping to stock up on new season 5 skins, there’s another item that could be even more popular.

That’s because fans can also snap up the Chomp Jnr harvesting tool, which completes the new fishy set.

The Chomp axe has a definite Jaws vibe going and boasts a smaller price tag.

For those interested in grabbing the new harvesting tool design, it will cost 1,500 V-Bucks, having not been deemed a legendary item.

These new Fortnite season 5 skins and gear will be available over the next 48hrs before being replaced by more content from Epic Games.

As the development team notes whenever selling cosmetic items, this new gear will not provide any kind of bonus during a Battle Royale game.

They are purely cosmetic, so fans shouldn’t worry about spending cash in Fortnite unless they want to earn or buy new gear for their character.

Unlike some of the Viking gear before it, more fishy gear will be harder to find as part of the official season 5 battle pass.

The Tier 100 items will be the ones everyone will want to get their hands on, although that will take some dedication when it comes to completing weekly challenges.

The challenges are separated into hard and regular tiers of difficulty.

The hard difficulty Fortnite challenges net players ten Battle Stars, while the regular tasks reward fans with five Battle Stars.

Unlocking Battle Stars levels up your Battle Pass, which is how you unlock all the rewards on offer.

Season 5 also features bonus challenges that will net players specific items. The Road Trip challenges are similar to Blockbuster challenges from Season 4.

The Road Trip tier rewards players with special loading screens for fully completing all weekly challenges. These loading screens feature hidden Battle Star clues.

SECRET BATTLE STARS WEEK 2

The Fortnite secret battle star can be unlocked in week 2 by completing all seven of the challenges set by Epic Games.

That means you will need a battle pass, regardless of being able to finish off those free challenges now being offered by Epic Games.

Having done this, you will then unlock a loading screen that gives you the right locations for the secret battle star.

The loading screen shows a bunch of Fortnite characters racing around on karts, doing their own Road Trip thing.

As those who have navigated the newly revamped map will know, this scene is going on at the new Lazy Links zone.

And for those with a keen eye for detail, you should be able to make out a ghost of a battle star above the main compound building.

Lazy Links has replaced Anarchy Acres in season 5, meaning you will need to head over to the F2 grid location on the map.

It should be noted that if you can’t see the battle star, it’s because you haven’t completed the full challenge list.
