Lewis Hamilton has surged back to the top of the Drivers’ Championship standings after pulling off a spectacular victory in the German Grand Prix.
Starting 14th on the grid, Hamilton was the only driver to attempt a one-stop strategy and took advantage when his title rival Sebastian Vettel crashed out.
The Ferrari ace lost control heading into the Sachs Curve as he struggled around with slick tyres on a damp track.
Hamilton then superbly managed the safety car restart to lead home team-mate Valtteri Bottas and Kimi Raikkonen.
Meanwhile, Force India recorded a double points finish and Roman Grosjean, Marcus Ericsson and Brendon Hartley all recorded top 10 results.
