While not affecting every core service on the Microsoft console, fans are running into trouble playing games tonight.
The current Xbox Live status page news confirms there are problems with Buying items, redeeming codes, or downloading purchases.
But this also extends to launching games on the Xbox One, including those apparently connected to the Xbox Game Pass.
Current affected services are listed as Browsing the Xbox Games Store, Downloading items that you have already purchased.
Those who are trying to access certain online games are being faced with error message, confirming a server outage.

The platform allows you to display contact information, social media links, services, and products all in one shareable link. Optional features include appointment scheduling, WhatsApp-based storefronts, media galleries, and custom design options.
The good news is that Microsoft says they know what the problem is and should hopefully have it fixed very soon.
“We believe we have identified the issue causing some members to have problems finding previously-purchased content or purchasing new content,” an Xbox Live message reads.
“Thanks for your patience as the team works to resolve the issue.”
No ETA has been provided on how long this outage will last, or when these problems will be fixed.
