James Bond 25: Here’s why Daniel Craig’s final 007 movie could be DELAYED until 2020

The next film is set for release in November 2019, however not much information has been announced as of yet, including a director.

But in recent weeks Danny Boyle has been tipped as 007 producers’ favourite.

The Oscar-winner even has his own script being penned by his Trainspotting screenwriter, rivaling regular Bond writers, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade.

However Boyle is now attached to direct a Richard Curtis musical comedy, which is expected to shoot this summer.

, and 007 producers would go with another choice and Purvis and Wade’s script.

Although there’s another option: If they’re keen – and Craig’s keen – they might wait for him.

If that were the case Bond 25 would presumably be delayed until at least 2020, five years after the last film, Spectre.

However Boyle might decide he’d rather reboot Bond with the next actor, meaning another favourite on the list like Yann Demange would direct Craig’s final film.

However now he’s signed on got HBO’S Lovecraft Country, with Jordan Peele and JJ Abrams.

And with Christopher Nolan and Denis Villeneuve busy this time around, suitable directors are running out fast.
