Kate Middleton due date revealed: Third baby to arrive on this UK holiday

Kate Middleton, 36, has been given the due date for her third child, according to sources.

The Duchess of Cambridge is already a mother-of-two to Prince George, four, and Princess Charlotte, two.

But that is set to change imminently, an the baby may well be born on a very special day.

Sources have said the third royal baby could arrive on 23 April, St George’s Day.

A source told the Sun: “There’s no certainty with due dates of course but the Duchess is working off a date around St George’s Day and it would be a lovely patriotic coincidence if he or she were born then.”

St George’s Day is a celebration of English Christian figurehead Saint George.

The religious figure is said to have slain a dragon in the UK, although accounts of this event are unverifiable.

Now the day is often a day of general celebration, and a good excuse for many Britons to go to the pub or have a meal with family.

However, Kate’s third baby could be born on another special day, if the birth comes later than expected.

The royal source added: “Or if she’s very late, as she was with George’s birth, she could even make it a very special wedding anniversary present to William, as they celebrate seven years of marriage on the 29th April.”
