Melania Trump stuns in £2,000 red coat for Valentine’s Day to visit sick children

Melania Trump met poorly children at a school yesterday.

The 47-year-old old former model, originally from Slovenia, made Valentine’s Day cards with the children in Bethesda, Maryland.

The First Lady wore a red coat to mark the traditionally romantic occasion.

Mother-of-one to 11-year-old Barron Trump wore a red coat worth over £2,000 to visit the Children’s Inn at the National Institutes of Health.

Melania’s red Calvin Klein coat had deep pockets and a belt with a silver buckle.

She added patent python skin black stilhettoes to the look.

Melania smiled as she hugged the children and helped them to make their special cards.

Her hair was gently curled, while her engagement ring and another large ring glittered on her hands.

The First Lady tweeted from her Twitter account: “Looking forward to a very sweet afternoon visiting @theChildrensInn & celebrating Valentine’s Day with some kids at @NIH! #HappyValentinesDay”

She also made a heartfelt tribute to the victims of the Florida school shooting, news of which broke late last night.

Melania wrote: “My heart is heavy over the school shooting in Florida. Keeping all affected in my thoughts & prayers.”

Donald Trump has also tweeted concerning the incident, in which 17 were left dead.

He wrote: “My prayers and condolences to the families of the victims of the terrible Florida shooting. No child, teacher or anyone else should ever feel unsafe in an American school.”

The 71-year-old President then added: “Just spoke to Governor Rick Scott. We are working closely with law enforcement on the terrible Florida school shooting.”

On February 13 Melania Trump supported her husband at a reception for National African American History Month.

The First Lady looked chic in a simple black dress and toned down make-up for the event.

The sleeveless dress featured a high round neck and was cut close to Melania’s body.
