The actor, now promoting his latest movie The Commuter, said in a recent interview that he currently has no plans to reprise the role he played in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace back in 1999.
That said, he acknowledged that – despite being killed off in the movie – he could always pop up in an prequel or anthology movie as a Force Ghost.
“This is the first time I’m hearing of this,” he said of a potential reprisal.
“No one’s been in touch with me. I know in the Star Wars world anything is possible.”
He added: “In the first one, The Phantom Menace, I died but we know, you know, Jedis come back and stuff but no one’s been in touch.

An Obi-Wan Kenobi film has long been rumoured, presumably to plug the gap in between Episode III and Episode IV – or at least, any stones unturned by accompanying animated shows.
Last year’s first foray into an anthology tale was Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which was a huge box office success.
It will be followed this May by Solo: A Star Wars Story; a teaser trailer for which is expected imminently.
Other anthology stories rumoured at various times in recent years have included those for Boba Fett, Yoda and even Jabba the Hutt.
The main saga will conclude with Episode IX in 2019; an official title for which is still to be announced.
