In recent years Cage has been known for his bizarre moves and behaviour, including purchasing a small pyramid tomb to be buried in.
While he won an Oscar for Best Actor in 1996 for Leaving Las Vegas, the 53-year-old’s career has taken a different turn.
In recent years he’s been starring in a string of straight-to-DVD flicks from Left Behind to The Runner.
Now his latest movie, Mom and Dad, has had its trailer released and it looks like the actor is exploring film’s boundaries when it comes to the subject of infanticide.
Bloody Disgusting’s description of Mom and Dad is as follows: “Brian Taylor directs the high concept film about a teenage girl and her little brother who must survive a wild 24 hours during which a mass hysteria of unknown origins causes parents to turn violently on their own kids.

“The parents are played by none other than Nicolas Cage (Season of the Witch, Wicker Man, Ghost Rider) and Selma Blair (Hellboy, The Fog), with Anne Winters and Zackary Arthur.”
The highlight of the trailer has to be Cage singing Hokey Cokey, while smashing something with a sledge hammer.
Could this be one of 2018’s most controversial film entries?
