Liverpool news: Jurgen Klopp has one thing to change after Arsenal result

That is the verdict of Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler.

Liverpool raced into a 2-0 lead away to Arsenal on Friday before they were eventually pegged back and ended up drawing 3-3.

The Reds have come under scrutiny over their defensive deficiencies and they have already conceded 23 goals in the Premier League this term.

While they have only lost twice, they have thrown away games when they have been in a commanding position.

And Fowler believes they have to learn to manage matches better.

“Klopp (below) said recently that his sides will always play fair, that he wants to win in the right way,” Fowler told the Daily Mirror.

“He said he’d never resort to gamesmanship, or ‘game management’ as it’s called these days.

“But maybe he should reconsider that.

“Liverpool should not only have won at the Emirates, they should have recorded one of the great victories.

“Instead they dropped two more points, and they’re so far behind in the title race they need snookers.

“Perhaps it’s time to start changing the tempo after they get leads, not changing their mentality.”
