Destiny 2 NEWS: Curse of Osiris stream CANCELLED, as lengthy downtime REVEALED

 2 fans have been given a double dose of bad news this week.

Bungie has announced plans to perform six hours of maintenance on November 29. This means servers will be offline and the game will be inaccessible.

The maintenance begins at 4pm UK time on November 29 and ends at 10pm that same night.

Players signed in prior to the maintenance can play until 5pm, at which point all players will be kicked out of the game.

And if that wasn’t bad enough, Bungie has also cancelled plans to hold a Curse of Osiris livestream.

Instead, Bungie will address the ongoing controversy surrounding the game’s .

That’s according to community manager Deej, who told fans that Bungie will address the future of the game.

He said: “Tomorrow, we had planned to conduct the final stream prior to the launch of “Curse of Osiris” to show off some of the weapons and armour the expansion includes.

“Instead, we are investing all our efforts into delivering some higher priority information about Destiny 2.

“You’ll hear from studio leadership about their assessment of Destiny all up, they’ll talk about our goals for the game going forward, and you’ll also learn about how we’re reacting to your feedback with some game updates that will arrive in the next few weeks.”

Fans can also check out the Destiny 2 free-to-play trial on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

“Team up with friends or play solo and experience your first steps in the epic cinematic-filled campaign, explore new worlds, and face off in competitive multiplayer,” Bungie reveals.

The Destiny 2 trial will give newcomers a chance to check out campaign missions on the European Dead Zone and the moon of Titan.

The free trial also includes access to player-vs-player multiplayer in the Crucible Quickplay Playlist, as well as Clan functionality.

Players can progress to level 7, while any gameplay progression will carry over to the full release.
